Victor Cohen has over 30 years experience representing domestic and international business clients, small and large. Victor provides legal counsel in a wide variety of transactions, including purchases and sales, licensing of trademark, copyright and other intellectual property, joint ventures, corporate structuring, partner buyouts, and leasing. Victor also provides general representation and has helped clients work through difficulties with regulatory agencies, amongst principals and Board members, and in managing business crises, disputes and litigation.
Prior to returning to law firm private practice, Victor was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation. As a senior officer there and its chief legal officer for over 15 years, he helped guide Polo's expansion and entry into numerous markets throughout the world and its evolution from a closely-held business into a widely-admired NYSE public company. Prior to that, Victor was an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City, where he focused on public and private finance and other corporate transactions. Victor joined Levin & Glasser in 2002.
